Welcome to CoSynk! These terms govern your use of our app and services. By downloading or using CoSynk, you agree to what's written here. If you have any questions, reach out at hello@cosynk.app.

What is CoSynk?

CoSynk is a check-in app for any two people who want to stay in sync with each other. Partners, close friends, family, whoever. You share daily check-ins, mood, photos, goals, and more.

Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your account secure. If you think someone else has accessed your account, let us know right away at hello@cosynk.app.

Please be accurate when setting up your account and keep your info up to date.

You must be at least 13 years old to use CoSynk.

Connecting with Someone

CoSynk lets you pair with one other person via an invite code. Only pair with someone you trust, as your check-ins are shared with them by default.

You can unpair at any time from within the app. After unpairing, each person keeps access to their own archive of past check-ins.

Your Content

Everything you post belongs to you. Check-ins, photos, audio, mood entries, reactions, comments, goals. We just store and sync it so the app works.

That said, please don't post anything harmful, illegal, harassing, or that violates someone else's privacy or rights. We reserve the right to remove content that crosses those lines and to suspend accounts that repeatedly do.

What You Shouldn't Do

We ask that you don't use CoSynk for anything illegal or harmful, attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the app, impersonate someone else, or use bots or automated tools to interact with the app.

Push Notifications

If you turn on notifications, you'll receive things like daily reminders, nudges from your connection, streak alerts, and weekly recaps. You can turn these off any time in your device settings or inside the app.

Availability

We work hard to keep CoSynk running smoothly, but there may be occasional downtime for maintenance or things outside our control. We'll do our best to give you a heads-up when planned maintenance is coming.

Our Stuff

CoSynk's design, code, logos, and branding are ours. These terms don't give you any rights to use them.

Disclaimers

CoSynk is provided "as is." We do our best to keep things working, but we can't promise the app will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Use it at your own discretion.

We're also not responsible for the quality or outcome of any personal relationship. CoSynk is a tool to help you stay connected, nothing more.

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CoSynk isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If anything significant changes, we'll let you know via the app or by email. Continued use after an update means you're good with the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from your use of CoSynk will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.
